Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Naples, FL is seeking a Director of Clinical Documentation Integrity to lead our inpatient CDI operations onsite. You will drive documentation quality, physician engagement, and accurate reimbursement while partnering with coding, quality, and revenue cycle leadership.

The role requires 7+ years of CDI experience and 5+ years in leadership, with a focus on regulatory compliance, DRG methodologies, and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Preferred Education Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Clinical Documentation Integrity experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing CDI programs and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of CDI operations.
• Develop and execute CDI program goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop CDI managers, supervisors, and team members.
• Drive improvements in documentation quality, CC/MCC capture, SOI, ROM, and reimbursement accuracy.
• Partner with coding, quality, case management, compliance, revenue cycle, and physician leadership teams.
• Monitor CDI productivity, quality, and financial performance metrics.
• Develop physician education strategies and lead provider engagement initiatives.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational documentation standards.
• Support growth initiatives, acquisitions, client implementations, and process improvements.
• Utilize technology and AI-enabled solutions to enhance program effectiveness.
