Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Case Management Director to lead our Case Management department within our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will guide a team, oversee daily operations, and drive quality outcomes focused on census management and patient care effectiveness across our local community.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with insurers, physicians, and care teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered services in a complex post‑acute

Qualifications

• Current CCM® or ACMTM certification preferred.
• Active license if licensure is required for the discipline.
• For Nursing, BSN with RN licensure is required.
• For other health professionals, minimum bachelor's; graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Case Management department.
• Manage census, patient care outcomes, and key care indicators.
• Act as patient/family advocate ensuring services meet needs.
• Provide guidance and training on caseloads, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Build relationships with insurance companies and healthcare networks.
