Job summary

Worcester State University seeks a Director, Capital Campaign to lead planning, implementation, and reporting for the university's capital campaign. You will coordinate with leadership, volunteers, and campaign staff to drive strategy, timelines, and governance, ensuring alignment with fundraising priorities.

The role requires five-plus years in fundraising or advancement operations, strong project management, and experience with donor relations and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of fundraising or advancement experience.
• Experience supporting capital or comprehensive campaigns.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems, fundraising analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with senior leadership, trustees, volunteers, donors, and university stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the VPUA and leadership to implement and monitor the comprehensive campaign plan.
• Develop a strategic campaign road map in collaboration with the VPUA and PGO.
• Design and execute campaign timelines, milestones, meetings, and related activities.
• Monitor campaign progress with regular analysis, updates, and recommendations.
• Assist in developing campaign policies, naming opportunities, and gift acceptance procedures.
• Oversee campaign donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and pipelines.
• Coordinate committees and volunteer activities, including recruitment, training, and recognition.
• Prepare campaign briefings, reports, solicitation materials, and donor communications.
