Worcester State University seeks a Director, Capital Campaign to lead planning, execution, and governance of the institution's capital campaign. You will coordinate with the VPUA, senior leaders, trustees, staff, and volunteers to deliver on fundraising priorities.
This role requires strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate progress to donors and leadership.

OFFICIAL TITLE: Director, Capital Campaign
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Vice President for UniversityAdvancement (VPUA)
General Statement of Duties: Reporting to the Vice Presidentfor University Advancement (VPUA), the Director, Capital Campaign(DCC) coordinates the Capital Campaign planning, implementation,reporting, volunteer engagement, leadership briefings, and prospectmanagement in support of institutional fundraising priorities. Inthis role, the DCC will work closely with the Executive Directors,Alumni Relations and Development, and the Senior Director ofAdvancement Services, to act as a strategic leader and steward forthe University's comprehensive capital campaign and is responsiblefor campaign execution.
In addition, the DCC will work with University leadership,advancement staff, campaign counsel, trustees, and Volunteers.Alongside the Executive Director, Principal Gift Officer (PGO), theDCC will specifically oversee campaign coordination - timelines,communications, and reporting systems. The position serves as theprimary staff support to the VPUA on campaign matters and will betangentially involved in all aspects of University Advancementfundraising activities.
This position requires strong strategic, analytical,organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability tomanage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.Occasional evening and weekend work is required. This is afull-time, exempt, fully benefited professional position funded bythe University's three-year Capital Campaign. Continued funding forthe position is contingent upon the availability of campaignfunding.
This is a full-time, benefited, exempt, non-unit professionalposition. The firm annual salary range for this position is$80,000- $90,000, commensurate with relevant professionalexperience and education. Funding for this position is secured forthe length of the University's three-year Capital Campaign.Continued funding for the position is contingent upon theavailability of campaign funding.
