Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Moses Campus is seeking a senior leader for the Security Department to guide operations across Moses, CHAM, MAP and surrounding buildings. You will lead managers, supervisors and officers to safeguard patients, staff and visitors, and protect campus assets.

You will partner with the Senior Director of Security to set strategic goals, develop policies, and ensure 24-hour coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Ten years+ related experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• NYS Driver's License required.
• Security Guard License required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security staff (managers, supervisors, officers) across Moses campus.
• Oversee day-to-day Security operations and access control systems.
• Develop strategic goals, policies, and procedures with Security leadership.
• Ensure 24-hour operations and safety of patients, staff and visitors.
• Manage budgets, payroll, and department expenditures.
• Partner with Customer Service to address patient and visitor concerns.
