SUNY Orange seeks a Director of Facilities Operations to lead day-to-day facilities across Middletown and Newburgh campuses. You will translate strategy into action, manage staff and resources, and ensure safe, reliable building operations for students and staff.

You will oversee capital projects, EH&S, and regulatory compliance while driving maintenance programs, budget stewardship, and service delivery improvements in a higher education setting.

Formación

• Demonstrated supervisory experience managing facilities, personnel and multiple operational functions.
• Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, building systems and campus services.
• Experience in higher education facilities management is preferred.
• Valid New York State Driver's License and ability to travel between campuses.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee daily facilities operations across all college locations.
• Lead facilities staff, ensure staffing, training, and labor relations objectives.
• Coordinate work requests, moves, events, and campus services delivery.
• Manage work-order/asset-management systems and maintenance programs.
• Support capital projects, master plan, and integration into operations.
• Manage facilities budget, procurement, contracts, and vendors.
• Ensure EH&S, fire/life-safety, compliance, and staff training.
• Respond to emergencies and support college emergency management.
• Oversee shuttle operations, event support, and space transitions.
• Develop and implement facilities policies and performance standards.
