Job summary

Lone Star College System is seeking a Director, Business Operations Executive Vice Chancellor Operations to lead budgeting, financial management, and system-wide business services. This role directs budgeting, forecasting, and policy planning across divisions while partnering with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include HR-related operations, KPI development, and cross-department collaboration to ensure compliant, efficient operations and multi-year financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• Experience must include at least 3 years in a management level position.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive budget setup across divisions and supervise annual budget development.
• Provide leadership on financial services, budgeting planning, and operational strategy.
• Oversee HR-related business operations including salary recommendations and postings.
• Advise senior leadership on strategic initiatives and policy planning.
• Develop and implement system-wide budgeting processes and SOPs.
• Create and manage forecasting models for revenue and expenses.
• Lead project spend reporting and multi-year funding analyses.
• Conduct internal audits of purchases and related processes.
