Job summary

Lone Star College System is seeking a Director of Business Operations Executive Vice Chancellor Operations (EVCO) to oversee staff and resources supporting budget, human resources processes, and financial operations across divisions. The role directs long-term planning, day-to-day budgets, and compliance with system policies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years in related finance/operations roles and 3 years in management. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years related experience; at least 3 years in management.
• MBA/Master's preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and resources to provide business operations support.
• Manage multi-million-dollar budgets with multiple funding sources.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for multiple divisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external rules and policies.
