Job summary

Provides SME support, training, and onboarding; manages budgets and grants; collaborates to implement SOPs and best practices while ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years in project management
• At least 2 years in a management level position

Responsibilities

• Manages daily financial operations for the department including accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, procurement, position management, and resolving complex accounting issues
• Conducts research, analyzes data, and develops detailed reports, proposals, and presentations
• Provides training and onboarding for Project Development and Planning team members
• Supports annual budget development, monitoring, and cost control
• Oversees year-end processes and ensures expenses are processed and cleared
• Manages capital project budgeting, transactions, and reconciliations
• Performs grants budget analysis to ensure compliance with grant restrictions
• Coordinates procurement processes and vendor communications
• Collaborates across units to implement best practices and KPI tracking
• Interfaces with internal and external contacts to support department operations
• Creates, tracks, and closes processes, contracts, assets, and initiatives using standard tools
• Provides administrative support including meeting scheduling, intranet updates, and document creation
