Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term organizational success.
  • Execute business development strategy to identify, pursue, and secure new customers.
  • Ensure customers and prospective clients have a comprehensive understanding of Smartlink’s full range of capabilities and services.
  • Identify emerging services, innovations, and market opportunities important to customers; collaborate with delivery leaders to ensure the operational infrastructure is in place.
  • Build and strategically cultivate strong customer relationships and networks to generate referrals and introductions to new prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead-generation and revenue-driving programs.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and contribute to securing mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Uphold professional, ethical, and company standards at all times.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new product or service development, marketing initiatives, branding, and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers.

Smartlink’s Director of Business Development drives sales growth through strategic customer development, brand-building initiatives, competitive analysis, and innovative product and service recommendations. This role partners closely with sales leadership and other senior executives to develop and execute strategic plans that support long-term revenue growth and market expansion by focusing on expending our customer base, identifying new market opportunities and strengthening our brand presence.
