Murray Company is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth via identifying opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and advancing pursuit strategies across markets. The role requires industry insight, credibility, and a passion for building meaningful connections to support Murray Company’s long-term goals.

The position involves national travel up to 75% and collaboration with marketing and operations to position the company for success across healthcare and Midwest markets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 10+ years in business development, sales, marketing, or construction industry.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.

• Lead or support RFQs, RFPs, interviews, and other pursuit activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to position Murray Company for success.

Skills & Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of related business development, sales, marketing, or construction industry experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Experience leading pursuit efforts and collaborating across teams.
• Strategic mindset with strong organization and follow-through.
• Commercial construction experience, preferred.
• Available to national travel for business growth, with up to 75% travel based on organizational needs, including occasional overnight and weekend commitments, required.
