Job summary

Murray Company in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Construction Project Engineer Intern to support healthcare construction projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and vendors while gaining hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

This summer internship runs May to August 2027. Candidates should be enrolled in Construction Management or a related program, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be eager to learn,

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully.
• Ability to work independently while still collaborating in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers, pre-construction managers, superintendents, project coordinators, warehouse managers while learning how real-world decisions share the outcomes.
• Participate in site visits and safety checks under supervision.
• Assist with documentation tracking and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
• Participate in company initiatives, committees, and continuing education

We are looking for driven college students ready to dive into the world of commercial construction. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the Project Engineer Internship Program.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work on-site
• Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record
• Authorized to work in the United States
