The Role: Market Lead (Sales)

As a Market Lead, you’ll take ownership of driving new business and building meaningful client partnerships in a wide-open, nationwide territory. This role is built for a self-starter who thrives in the hustle of staffing, but wants to do it in a place that values innovation, authenticity, and teamwork over bureaucracy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute your go-to-market strategy to win new clients across the U.S.
  • Sell direct hire and contract solutions across all industries and verticals—no restrictions
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients that are based on trust, value, and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with our recruiting team to ensure smooth, high-impact execution
  • Identify market trends and contribute ideas to help shape how we grow
  • Represent the Next Play brand with energy, integrity, and confidence

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of staffing and recruiting sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Consultative, relationship-driven, and fearless when it comes to picking up the phone or walking into a meeting
  • Excited by startup culture and motivated by autonomy and real impact
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking initiative, and iterating as you go
  • A natural connector with excellent communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills
