The Director of Business Development will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on our partnership strategy, and will be responsible for cultivating, securing and managing alliances to drive commercialization of InterVenn’s technology. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be working closely with the commercial, research and development, and data science teams to identify and promote applications for our technology and find ways to partner with industry to accelerate development of products and solutions. This role requires a highly independent professional with significant biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry exposure and strong commercial instincts. The successful candidate will manage the entire business development lifecycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and strategic account development. This is an onsite position in our South San Francisco, California office. Occasional local travel to partnership sites.
Work closely with internal teams from management to data science, research and operations to capitalize on opportunities that expand the company’s reach, revenue, and market position.
Form strategic partnerships with other companies, research institutions, and stakeholders, including negotiating contracts and managing relationships to foster collaboration.
