Job summary

Senior Helpers of Silver Spring is seeking a high-performing Director of Business Development to lead growth in Montgomery County. You will open doors, ask for the business, and convert prospects into long-term referral partners while managing a dynamic sales pipeline.

If you have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and real relationships in healthcare or senior care, this is your chance to build something from the ground up with the support of a nationwide home care brand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales or business development experience.
• Experience selling services, not products, in healthcare or senior care preferred.
• Strong relationships within Silver Spring's healthcare community are a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing a referral pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development plan
• Build referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, rehab facilities, assisted living and skilled nursing communities, hospice agencies, and other healthcare partners
• Prospect through cold calls, in-person visits, networking, and community events
• Manage and grow a referral pipeline using our CRM
• Run sales presentations, lunch-and-learns, and community outreach events
• Track pipeline performance, referral trends, and conversion metrics

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a business development plan

Who You Are

• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience
• Confident prospecting, cold-calling, and closing
• Strong CRM management

Preferred

• Experience selling services, not products
• Senior care, home health, or healthcare related sales background
• Existing referral relationships in Silver Spring's healthcare community
