Job Summary:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding the company's market reach, and building strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

*Remote role within the following markets: Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, Nashville, Birmingham, Tampa*

Responsibilities:

Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities

  • Proactively seeking out and capitalizing on new opportunities for business expansion, including new markets, products, and partnerships

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's overall goals.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.

Negotiation and Deal−Making

  • Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners to secure new business. Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and motivate staffing and recruiting teams to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.

Project Management

  • Manage business development projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Customer Focus

  • Understanding customer needs and ensuring that the company's staffing and recruiting services meet those needs.

Communication and Presentation Skills

  • Effectively communicating business development strategies and results to the organization and board of directors.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in business development required. At least 3 years in a leadership role and staffing and recruiting experience are preferred.
  • Proven ability to inspire and manage cross−functional teams, driving exceptional performance in new business development
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship−building skills across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure strategic connectivity between all divisions of the business
  • Proficiency in Bullhorn, Linkedln Recruiter, Indeed, Workday, and other sourcing and CRM technologies.
