Job Summary:
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding the company's market reach, and building strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.
*Remote role within the following markets: Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, Nashville, Birmingham, Tampa*
Responsibilities:
Identifying and Developing New Business Opportunities
- Proactively seeking out and capitalizing on new opportunities for business expansion, including new markets, products, and partnerships
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.
Negotiation and Deal−Making
- Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners to secure new business. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and motivate staffing and recruiting teams to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
Project Management
- Manage business development projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Customer Focus
- Understanding customer needs and ensuring that the company's staffing and recruiting services meet those needs.
Communication and Presentation Skills
- Effectively communicating business development strategies and results to the organization and board of directors.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in business development required. At least 3 years in a leadership role and staffing and recruiting experience are preferred.
- Proven ability to inspire and manage cross−functional teams, driving exceptional performance in new business development
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship−building skills across teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure strategic connectivity between all divisions of the business
- Proficiency in Bullhorn, Linkedln Recruiter, Indeed, Workday, and other sourcing and CRM technologies.
