Qualifications

• 8+ years in product development or management for physical consumer goods.
• Portfolio of multiple differentiated products across more than one product family.
• Experience owning a product category P&L and deciding what to fund or kill.
• Proven ability to hire, manage, and develop designers or product developers.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners directly

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product roadmap and portfolio strategy.
• Build a continuous pipeline of product opportunities from insights and data.
• Define differentiating product claims, materials, and finishes for a premium position.
• Author business cases with volume, landed cost, margin targets and payback.
• Run the five-stage new product development process end to end and defend gate submissions.
• Drive CAD/tech-pack development, prototyping, and tooling readiness for launches.
• Own materials, finishes, and supplier collaboration to meet margin targets.
• Lead the industrial design team and coordinate cross-functional delivery for launch.
• Coordinate IP, design rights strategy, and compliance before tooling release.
• Maintain an expedited speed-to-market path for fast-turn programs.
• Manage overseas manufacturing partners, sampling cadence, and trips.
