Job summary
ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is seeking a Biotech Strategy Lead in Oncology for a remote US-based role. You will shape oncology development strategies, advise clients, and translate scientific plans into actionable delivery while collaborating with executive teams.
You will influence proposals, manage opportunities, and guide cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives in a dynamic biotech environment.
Qualifications
- Oncology drug development experience and biotech environment.
- 9+ years experience in pharma/biotech with clinical development exposure.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives without direct reporting line.
Responsibilities
- Shape Oncology clinical development and operational strategies for biotechnology opportunities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on client engagements, opportunity assessments, and bid defenses.
- Lead the strategic development of proposals and solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Build trusted relationships with biotech clients, understanding their Oncology pipelines and priorities.
- Provide strategic oversight from solution development through execution, evaluating feasibility and KPIs.
- Apply Oncology and drug development expertise to evolving development approaches and client needs.
- Strengthen ICON's Oncology positioning through collaboration and thought leadership activities.
