Job summary
ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist – Oncology for a home-based role in the US. You will lead clinical trial design, medical monitoring oversight, and scientific input across the study team, collaborating with CD, SM, and external stakeholders.
The role requires 7+ years of clinical research in oncology (BS with 7+ or MS/PhD with 5+), strong communication, and travel up to 15%. You will contribute to CSRs, publications, and trial results presentations, while mentoring
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Life Sciences with 7+ yrs clinical research experience
- MS/PhD in Life Sciences with 5+ years clinical research experience
- If no degree in Life Sciences, must have significant experience in clinical development (>11 years)
Responsibilities
- Lead or support a study or studies, depending on size/complexity.
- As lead, responsible for clinical/scientific execution of the protocol.
- Provide scientific input to SM for data management activities (EDC, DRP, CRFs).
- Mentor other Clinical Scientists where applicable.
- Coordinate planning of lab, bio specimens and imaging specifications.
