Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in utility-scale BESS.
• Experience leading managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contracts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for BESS augmentation programs and teams.
• Set portfolio priorities, staffing plans, governance, and augmentation strategies.
• Direct safe field execution, outage planning, subcontractor coordination, quality, and turnover.
• Partner with project managers on budgets, procurement, contracts, schedules, and risks.
• Review portfolio safety, quality, schedule, cost, and corrective actions.
• Develop leaders through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Coordinate with internal teams, OEMs, and clients to align execution.
• Standardize controls, reporting, installation practices, and lessons learned.
• Lead BESS safety planning, lockout/tagout, and emergency response.
• Support estimating, scope development, procurement, and vendor quotations.
• Oversee installation and integration of BESS systems (electrical, mechanical, controls).
• Train regional teams and drive safety, cost, quality, and performance improvements.
• Travel at least 30% to support projects, sites, and teams.
