Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a highly experienced Excellence Operations Director to partner with the SVP, BD Excellence. You will translate strategy into execution, lead governance, and drive cross-functional delivery of high-impact initiatives across a global, matrixed organization.

You will manage the BD Excellence Deployment Coordinator and contractor resources, ensuring disciplined delivery, transparency, and timely decision-making to achieve performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA or related graduate degree) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the SVP, BD Excellence to translate strategic priorities into actionable operating plans.
• Lead governance framework including leadership reviews, cadences, and decision forums.
• Drive portfolio prioritization, sequencing, and resource allocation across initiatives.
• Oversee KPI tracking, scorecards, dashboards, and execution reviews.
• Develop executive communications and leadership presentations for the BD Excellence Office.
