Oakland Athletics in Las Vegas seeks a Director, Production Technology (Ballpark) to lead the full production technology stack—broadcast and control room systems, LED/video displays, audio, replay, and digital signage—for the ballpark’s events. You will manage live-event workflows, coordinate with IT, Facilities, Marketing and broadcast partners, and build a scalable, secure production environment.

7–10+ years in live sports or large-scale events, IP-based infrastructure experience, and strong

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressively responsible experience in live sports, broadcast engineering, stadium operations, or large-scale event production.
• Experience leading production technology operations within professional sports venues or equivalent environments; opening a new venue is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of broadcast and control room systems, LED/video technologies, and IP-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with industry-leading production and broadcast technologies (Daktronics, Ross Video, Evertz, EVS, Lawo, Cisco).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing complex live-event operations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps for ballpark production systems.
• Oversee control room operations, IPTV, LED displays, ribbon boards, audio, replay, and broadcast infrastructure.
• Lead vendor relations, project timelines, and integration of new systems.
• Coordinate technical execution with entertainment, marketing, sponsorship, and operations teams.
• Manage budgets and staffing for production technology.
