Gilbane Development Company is seeking a Director, Asset Management to lead asset strategy across a portfolio of purpose-built student housing and market-rate multifamily properties. You will drive performance, manage capital discipline, and deliver value through development, lease-up, stabilization, and repositioning.
The role requires deep investment judgment, operational discipline, and ability to partner with Development, Construction, Acquisitions, Capital Markets, Finance, Accounting, Risk
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field is required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, investment management, acquisitions, development, or related role.
- Experience with market-rate multifamily and purpose-built student housing; development assets and lease-ups preferred.
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Mansioni
- Own and drive asset-level and portfolio-level business plans from development through disposition.
- Partner with Development, Acquisitions, and Capital Markets during deal origination and major investment decisions.
- Oversee asset performance against underwriting, budgets, and long-term value creation.
- Lead strategy for underperforming assets and coordinate with lenders, investors, operators.
