Job summary

LIIF in San Francisco, with offices in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles and DC, seeks a Director of Asset Management to lead the Asset Management team and oversee a diverse loan portfolio in affordable housing and community facilities.

The role focuses on loan monitoring, modifications, site visits and workouts, with cross‑functional collaboration to minimize risk and ensure strong customer service across our nationwide portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, business administration, finance or related field; introductory accounting.
• Advanced degree preferred and encouraged for leadership roles.
• Experience leading asset management teams and reviewing complex loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Direct Asset Managers and oversee asset-management of LIIF’s loan portfolio.
• Lead the CFDLM initiative and coordinate cross-functional meetings for delinquent loans.
• Oversee loan monitoring, construction disbursement, site visits and workouts.
• Ensure portfolio management mitigates credit risk and resolves issues with speed and quality.
