Job summary

Brilliant Corners in Los Angeles seeks an Asset Manager to support its Real Estate Division’s portfolio of affordable housing assets, including LIHTC and HUD programs. Under the Director of Asset Management, you will execute asset management strategies, perform financial analysis, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance across development, stabilization, and long-standing communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8) or similar.
• Experience conducting financial analysis, forecasting, or budget variance analysis.
• Exposure to real estate development, acquisitions, underwriting, or asset management.
• Experience preparing reports and recommendations for management.
• Experience working with nonprofit organizations or mission-driven housing groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational performance of assigned properties.
• Review rent rolls, occupancy, and financial statements to identify variances.
• Support budgets, forecasts, and capital planning.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and other programs.
• Coordinate with property managers, lenders, and investors.
