Job summary

Sequoia Living in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Asset Management Director (30 hours/week) to protect and improve the long-term financial performance, physical condition, and value of three affordable housing properties. You will oversee asset sustainability and capital planning, working closely with the VP of Facilities and management partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in affordable housing asset/portfolio management or related fields.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, PBV, Section 8, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong financial analysis: budgeting, forecasting, occupancy and cash flow.
• Experience overseeing third-party property management and portfolio performance.
• Experience with capital planning, PNA, project budgets, and risk evaluation.
• Ability to travel to Sequoia Living locations in Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset management and portfolio performance for 3-property portfolio.
• Coordinate with VP and management provider; report metrics to leadership.
• Guide annual budgeting, monitor occupancy, delinquencies, and reserves.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, and other regulatory obligations.
• Support due diligence for new developments, redevelopment, or affiliations.
