Job summary

EPI Networking seeks a Director of Asset Management to lead the performance of its multifamily portfolio. This high-visibility role offers direct ownership exposure and strong growth potential in a dynamic real estate investment and property management firm.

Responsibilities include owning strategy, conducting on-site reviews, and leading budgeting, reporting, and value-add initiatives to improve NOI. Travel to sites will be required, including regions along the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in multifamily asset management with sale/refi and investor reporting exposure.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, cash flow modeling, refinance/sale analysis.
• Experience leading property management and maintenance teams; travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own asset management strategy across the portfolio — investment objectives, financial targets, compliance.
• Conduct on-site property visits and performance reviews; identify deficiencies and drive corrective action plans.
• Oversee property management and maintenance functions portfolio-wide.
• Assist in managing cash positions, including distributions, reserves, and capital needs.
• Lead annual budgeting and business plan development.
• Review monthly and annual financial statements and flag issues proactively.
• Run sale/refinance analysis, including hold/sell recommendations and financing evaluation.
• Prepare and deliver investor reporting packages as needed.
• Identify and lead value-add initiatives to improve NOI and asset performance.

What You'll Do

• Own asset management strategy across the full portfolio — investment objectives, financial targets, compliance

What You Bring

• 7+ years of multifamily asset management experience, including sale/refi and investor reporting exposure
• Strong financial acumen — budgets, cash flow models, refi/sale analysis
• Advanced Excel required; PM software experience (Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio) a plus
• Experience overseeing property management and maintenance teams
• Strong communication skills — direct interface with ownership and investors
• Ability to travel regularly for on-site visits within Southern California
