Job summary

University of Oregon seeks a Director of Assessment to lead the division’s assessment efforts and advance student life priorities. The role serves as the division’s primary expert on assessment, developing strategies, tools, and training to translate findings into actionable improvements.

The position manages day-to-day operations of the assessment office, including budget oversight and coordination with Institutional Research and other campus partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, education research, educational leadership, social sciences, statistics or related field.
• Five years of experience in assessment, program evaluation, institutional research, or related field in higher education.
• Experience translating data into actionable insights for varied audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead divisional assessment efforts to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive assessment strategy and annual workplan.
• Provide guidance and training to departments and support program reviews.
