Director, Institutional Research and Assessment
Essential Job Functions
- Provides feedback to the administration on institutionalstrengths and weaknesses as revealed by the assessment process, viareports and briefing
- Recommends policies and/or procedures when applicable whichwill improve institutional effectiveness and/or institutionalassessment
- Assists in identifying data required for effectiveinstitutional planning for assessing achievement when necessaryand/or requested.
- Coordinates and assists in gathering, assessing andsynthesizing data and information required for decision-making whennecessary and/or as required.
- Cooperates and collaborates with other individuals,department/units of the university in carrying out their duties andresponsibilities relative to assessment and providing externalentities with information/data
- Other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required.Doctoral degree is preferred.
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years’ related experience Licenses/CertificationsN/A
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of data retrieval procedures and effective assessmentmethodologies
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written andinterpersonal
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work well with colleagues and foster a collegialenvironment conducive to teamwork
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and implement a widerange of training programs independently and in collaboration withUniversity administrators
- Ability to facilitates the academic program review process
