Job summary

The Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Baltimore is seeking a Director of Arts Education to lead our arts education portfolio for children, teens and families. You will work with the Center for Arts & Culture and Gordon Center teams to shape programs across theater, dance, summer arts, and other experiences, ensuring inclusive, high-quality engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in arts education, arts administration, or related field.
Experience in arts education, program management, or related fields strongly preferred.
Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple programs.
Commitment to inclusive, welcoming, safe arts experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide creative and strategic leadership for the JCC’s arts education portfolio year-round and summer.
Lead Children’s Theater Production Company programming and oversee dance programming.
Develop new classes, workshops, performances, camps, and arts experiences.
Build partnerships with schools, artists, educators, and organizations to expand programming.
