Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Director of Accounts Receivable to own the AR, billing, revenue, and order-to-cash integration for newly acquired businesses. You will report to Finance leadership and shape a high-visibility function as the organization grows through acquisitions.

The role requires leading cross-functional integration efforts, translating contract terms into billing requirements, and building scalable processes to stabilize post-close operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across AR, billing, revenue, project accounting, or finance transformation.
• Strong order-to-cash experience.
• Professional services or project-based industry experience preferred.
• M&A integration, ERP conversion, or finance transformation exposure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AR, billing, revenue, backlog, and customer contract integration across acquisitions.
• Own the process from pre-close planning through post-close stabilization and handoff.
• Review AR aging, DSO, collections, unbilled revenue, backlog, and working capital.
• Translate customer contract terms into billing, revenue, project, and collection requirements.
• Lead customer/project data conversions, billing cutovers, and opening AR reconciliations.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and IT throughout each integration.
• Build scalable processes, controls, and playbooks for future acquisitions.
