Job summary

Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning seeks a Director to own the full lifecycle of DECAL’s applications, including roadmaps, reliability, upgrades, and end-of-life decisions. You will drive DevOps maturity across .NET and Salesforce teams in Azure DevOps and govern security and vendor relations.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related field and 5+ years in a managerial role.
7+ years in a managerial role or equivalent experience.
Experience leading engineering teams of 10+ is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of DECAL’s application portfolio—roadmap, reliability, upgrades, and end-of-life decisions.
Drive delivery velocity across .NET and Salesforce development teams using Agile and DevOps practices in Azure DevOps.
Architect and migrate legacy .NET systems toward cloud-native patterns on Azure.
Govern Salesforce platform health, release cadence, and ISV vendor management.
Enforce CI/CD pipelines and environment governance across dev, UAT, and production.
