Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Director, Analytics Engineering to lead a team of analytics engineers and contractors, building trusted analytics capabilities for the Research organization. You will own hiring, performance management, and engineering standards, partnering with IT for deployment and operations.

Lead forecasting, propensity, segmentation, and attribution initiatives while evaluating new analytics and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics engineering, analytics, or data engineering.
• 5+ years leading technical teams.
• Advanced SQL, strong Python, and experience governing transformation workflows in Snowflake with Git-based development practices.
• Working fluency in applied statistics and predictive modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytics Engineering team and contractors; own performance management and career growth.
• Define data modeling, trusted metrics, testing, and governance standards.
• Translate ambiguous needs into scoped, deliverable solutions and manage scope as requirements evolve.
• Coordinate readiness handoffs with IT Engineering for production deployment and support.
• Direct forecasting, propensity, segmentation, and attribution work within the team.
• Evaluate emerging analytics and AI capabilities and guide responsible adoption.
