Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation, via the Children’s Hospital of Michigan division, seeks a Director of Ambulatory Services to lead ambulatory operations across hospital-based and outpatient settings. You will drive systems, budgets, and performance improvement while ensuring compliance with JCAHO and related regulations.

You will partner with physician and administrative leadership to implement strategic goals, oversee patient access, and support multiple service lines and physician practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field; Master's preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressively more responsible experience in ambulatory operations, facilities administration, physician practice administration or related area including leadership experience.
• Previous experience with physician practice information systems and/or the development of a management services organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for ambulatory care across hospital-based and outpatient settings.
• Develop and organize systems and programs for multiple ambulatory facilities; manage facilities planning, information systems, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor financial and business operation plans; support performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
