Salesforce is seeking a Director of AI Ventures to lead AI Labs’ venture strategy in building relationships with founders, labs, and investors. You will map emerging AI technologies, source strategic opportunities, and collaborate with M&A and Strategic Finance to move opportunities into due diligence.

This role is centered in Salesforce’s AI-driven innovation framework. You will develop viewpoints on where AI markets are headed and help Salesforce decide when to build, buy, partner, or monitor.

Qualifications

• Experience in deep-tech and product-centric venture capital, startup investing, or a closely related AI ecosystem role.
• Strong network with founders, professors, VCs, accelerators, and technical communities.
• Fluency in AI markets and enterprise software trends.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain a landscape of companies, labs, founders, technologies, investors, and emerging categories.
• Source acquisition, partnership, licensing, acquihire, and strategic opportunities before they are widely marketed.
• Maintain relationships with founders, professors, VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem leaders.
• Attend and sponsor conferences, hackathons, founder gatherings, and industry events to build market intelligence.
• Provide concise assessments of emerging companies and categories for AI Labs leadership.
• Develop and refresh views on AI market movements and where Salesforce should act.
