Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Director of Product Software Engineering - AI to lead strategy, development, and delivery of AI-powered software. You will build high-performing teams, partner with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders, and drive adoption of cloud and AI practices to deliver customer value.

The ideal candidate will blend strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, mentoring leaders and guiding architectural decisions across cloud-native solutions and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with progressive leadership.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and multiple teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native software on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Agile delivery.
• Experience leading teams building AI-enabled products and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering strategy, vision, and roadmap for Firm Intelligence products and platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive organizational transformation through modern engineering, cloud, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards, development frameworks, and best practices for quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to translate challenges into tech solutions.
• Coach and mentor managers and senior engineers to build high-performing teams.
