Job summary

Revvity Signals Software, Inc. is seeking a Director of Development, AI Native to lead the design and delivery of AI-native software for life sciences. You will manage a high-performance team, set technical direction, and partner with product, UX, and cloud teams to scale AI-driven platforms.

You will mentor engineers, define architecture, and implement modern DevSecOps practices using AWS, GCP, and Azure to ensure reliability, security, and speed. Remote NH-based role.

Qualifications

• BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience and at least 10 years’ experience as a manager.
• Advanced degree preferred; ChemBioInformatics experience preferred.
• Proven experience designing AI infrastructure powered by large language models.
• Expert programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with distributed execution frameworks like Dask, Sparc, Ray, or similar.
• Subject matter expert in AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Big Data, Cyber Security.
• Proven AWS experience.
• Experience building large-scale, high-availability applications.
• Full stack development experience is a plus; open source experience encouraged.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Experience in modern programming languages, LLMs and AI tooling (Go, Python, Java, Claude, CoPilot).
• Lead cross functional teams and mentor engineers.
• Work with UX and product management to align features with the overall product experience.
• Participate in hiring, planning, requirements definition, design discussions, code reviews, and development.
• Collaborate with PM, QA, Cloud Ops, and SREs to deploy a quality product for customers.
