Job summary

TraceLink seeks a Director of Applied Artificial Intelligence to lead a team of AI researchers and engineers focused on agentic cognition and governance across OPUS components. You will drive architecture, evaluation, and deployment for enterprise-scale AI systems in life sciences supply chain operations.

You will partner with Product, Platform, Security, and Legal to ensure responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and scalable impact across multi-enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML or data science with leadership exposure.
• Experience shipping LLM-based or agentic systems into production for enterprise customers.
• Ability to design evaluation methods for agent reasoning, planning and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of applied AI, ML, and agent systems engineers.
• Define governance, safety, and auditability within cognitive architectures.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to meet regulatory requirements.
• Represent TraceLink’s work on agentic cognition with customers and partners.
