Job summary

OpenGov in Chicago, IL seeks a Director of Professional Services to lead a team of project managers and implementation experts delivering OpenGov solutions on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction. You will own delivery predictability, portfolio profitability, and dynamic scoping with AI-first methods across multiple customer deployments.

Qualifications

• Five+ years leading professional services delivery teams in a SaaS environment with P&L ownership.
• Experience driving an AI-first delivery approach across a team.
• Proven ability to partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap using delivery data.
• Experience scoping and delivering custom or configured solutions with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, systems perspective, and process analysis skills.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and customer needs.
• Experience building high-performing teams and managing performance.
• Comfort with delivery and product data including utilization and escalation reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a delivery organization that achieves measurable outcomes for business and customers.
• Manage project managers with scope, schedule, and effort predictability.
• Ensure successful multi-customer deployments with clear scope and timelines.
• Partner with Engineering to translate implementation friction into product signals.
• Own portfolio forecast accuracy and revenue recognition timing.
• Drive efficiency to shorten time to value and ensure resources are planned.
• Serve as executive sponsor traveling to customer sites to maintain project momentum.
• Communicate status and risk clearly to stakeholders.
