Docplanner is seeking an Engineering Director to lead AI-driven initiatives across Marketplace, Patient Engagement, and Payments. You will manage ~75 engineers, shaping architecture, strategy and a unified product experience across 13 markets.

You will drive AI-assisted development, set standards for quality, security and privacy, and partner with Product and Design to deliver measurable outcomes. This role requires deep leadership, a product mindset, and the ability to navigate complex,

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-team engineering organisations through managers.
• Daily, practical fluency with AI-assisted development and clear judgment about its strengths, limits and risks.
• A product mindset: connect engineering strategy to customer outcomes and business results.
• Technical depth across architecture, delivery, reliability and security.
• Strong partnership with Product, Design, Data and business leaders and comfort with executives.
• Experience with marketplaces and complex, high-stakes products where reliability, privacy and security matter.

• Set the direction: own the engineering strategy and roadmap across all three areas.
• Turn AI into a product by collaborating with Product and Design from discovery to delivery.
• Shape company-wide tech and align with peers on shared platforms and trade-offs.
