Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated is seeking a senior technology leader to own information systems, data, analytics, and AI strategy, partnering with the CFO and senior leaders to align technology with business priorities and risk management.

The role requires guiding enterprise platforms, cybersecurity, governance, and data architecture, building self-service insights, and driving measurable value through AI and automation.

Qualificações

• 12+ years of progressive experience in information systems, data, analytics, AI, or related technology roles.
• 7+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions and AI applications.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, architecture, and security.
• Experience in life sciences or regulated industries preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute an integrated information systems, data, analytics, and AI strategy aligned with Ligand's priorities.
• Advise senior leadership on technology investments, enterprise platforms, automation, analytics, and related risks.
• Lead the full lifecycle of AI, automation, and analytics initiatives from business case to scale.
• Establish responsible AI practices covering governance, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Oversee data governance, architecture, pipelines, and data products for reliable access to information.
• Partner with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, interoperable solutions.
