Job summary

RLI Insurance Company seeks a Director of IT - AI to lead the enterprise AI strategy, governance, and adoption, partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver responsible AI that creates measurable value.

You will guide AI engineers and cross-functional teams, setting KPIs, risk measures, and aligning with enterprise standards to enable scalable AI across the organization. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology, AI, enterprise architecture, data, digital transformation, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading enterprise AI strategy, AI adoption programs, or a portfolio of AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models, cloud-based AI platforms, ML, or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI strategy and governance framework.
• Build relationships across the organization to identify AI opportunities and prioritize use cases.
• Establish goals, metrics, and reporting for AI adoption and business outcomes.
• Communicate AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to guide decisions.
