Ligand Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical technology and capital partner, seeks a senior leader to direct information systems, data, analytics, and AI strategy reporting to the CFO. Based in San Diego or Boston, you will translate business needs into secure, scalable tech solutions that boost productivity and risk management.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in information systems, data, analytics, AI, or related technology roles with 7+ years in leadership.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions and AI applications on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proven ability to influence across functions and communicate with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated information systems, data, analytics, and AI strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Advise leadership on technology investments, platforms, automation, analytics, and risks.
• Partner with executives to identify, prioritize, and deliver practical solutions with measurable impact.
• Lead AI, automation, and analytics initiatives from business case to scale and adoption.
• Define metrics for adoption, ROI, and business outcomes.
