Job summary

Asana is seeking an experienced engineering leader to scale the AI Teammates Pillar within our Core/AI Organization, overseeing four teams and reporting to the Head of Engineering, AI & AWM.

You will drive end-to-end strategy, architecture, and delivery for enterprise-grade AI platforms, lead engineering managers, and partner with Product, Security, and Legal to ensure reliable, high-value workflows for global customers from our San Francisco office on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience with multi-team stewardship and delivery.
Deep understanding of applied AI, LLM eval frameworks and orchestration.
Experience in backend/system reliability and enterprise governance.
Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term architectural work.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale the AI Teammates Pillar across four cores teams.
Define end-to-end strategy, architecture, and product delivery.
Foster cross-functional partnerships across R&D, Product, Security & Legal.
Attract and mentor senior engineers and managers, promoting inclusive culture.
