Florida Best Quote Insurance Agency in Largo, FL is seeking a Director of Agency Operations to build the operational foundation supporting growth. You will work with department leaders and executive leadership to improve performance, accountability, and efficiency.

The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, leading managers, establishing KPIs, leveraging data, and driving process improvements across the agency. A strategic and collaborative leader is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Experience in an independent insurance agency or brokerage.
• 3+ years of leadership, preferably managing managers or multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of agency operations and workflows.
• Experience using KPIs, scorecards, and reporting to manage performance.
• Proven ability to improve processes and develop leaders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to hold people accountable and lead change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day agency operations.
• Lead and develop managers and team leads.
• Establish performance standards, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Use reporting and data to identify problems and opportunities.
• Improve processes, workflows, SOPs, training, and quality assurance.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Partner with our Systems Director to improve technology, automation, and workflows.
• Lead agency-wide operational initiatives.
• Develop solutions to operational issues before they reach executive leadership.
• Help establish the systems, structure, and accountability needed for continued growth.
