Florida Best Quote Insurance Agency in Largo, FL, is seeking an Agency Operations Director to oversee and enhance daily operations across departments. The role requires guiding managers, implementing KPIs, and driving performance improvements.

You will partner with HR and the Systems Director on hiring, onboarding, and technology initiatives, ensuring accountability and streamlined workflows across the agency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• 3+ years of proven leadership experience, preferably managing managers or multiple departments.
• Significant experience in an independent insurance agency or brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of insurance agency operations.
• Experience managing performance through KPIs, scorecards, and reporting.
• Proven ability to improve processes and develop employees.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to hold teams accountable and lead organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead department managers and team leads.
• Oversee daily agency operations and departmental performance.
• Establish and maintain KPIs, scorecards, and performance standards.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions.
• Improve agency workflows, SOPs, training, and quality assurance.
• Develop managers and help strengthen leadership throughout the agency.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Partner with Systems Director on technology and automation initiatives.
• Lead cross-department operational projects.
• Help ensure issues are resolved at the appropriate level before reaching executive leadership.

Florida Best Quote Insurance Agency is looking for an experienced insurance agency operations leader to oversee and improve the way our agency operates.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of independent insurance agency workflows who knows how to manage leaders, improve processes, use data to drive performance, and create accountability across departments.

Compensation

$80,000-$100,000 plus performance-based annual bonus.
