Job summary

Palm Beach State College seeks an experienced advancement leader to direct operations including donor data management, reporting, and gift processing. You will ensure data integrity and support fundraising, stewardship, and decision-making.

The role includes governance, endowment reporting, IRS compliance, staff supervision, and collaboration with campus partners to achieve strategic outcomes. Travel for training and events is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; four years in advancement services or related field.
• Experience with endowment reporting and financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of donor database systems, reporting tools, and governance.
• Ability to manage data governance policies and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversees donor information tracking using CASE best practices and ensures compliance.
• Maintains and optimizes the donor database for prospect management, segmentation, and reporting.
• Ensures accurate record-keeping of gifts, pledges, and stewardship activities.
• Directs creation and distribution of endowment and donor impact reports.
• Ensures IRS and institutional policy compliance.
• Oversees gift processing functions including receipts and acknowledgments.
• Manages integration between advancement systems and campus platforms.
• Leads staff, sets goals, conducts reviews, and identifies training needs.
• Regularly meets with donors and campus leadership to discuss strategy and progress.
