Job summary

Generac is seeking a Director – Operations Engineering and Facilities to lead industrial footprint strategy, portfolio planning, and enterprise real estate management. You will guide strategic roadmaps, standardize processes, and deploy best practices to optimize asset utilization and facility performance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering.
• 10+ years related experience in Operations Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5 years of increasing responsibility for project and / or people management.

Responsibilities

• Drive an Operations Strategic Footprint Roadmap development process aligned with long-range planning.
• Develop a 5-year manufacturing facility roadmap aligned with all other operational disciplines to maximize asset and system leverage.
• Maximize floor space utilization, asset uptime, and drive cost reductions.
• Lead capital projects and vendor management, including budgeting and contract negotiation.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering and facilities teams; ensure leadership depth.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and deployment of best practices across facilities.
