Job summary

Generac is seeking a Director of Application Engineering to lead the Industrial Power Generation Application Engineering and Technical Support teams, guiding technical sales support, quotations, and internal tool support for dealers, customers, and national accounts.

You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to drive product improvements, develop sizing tools, installation guidelines, and training programs while building a high-performance, customer-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of experience in Power Generation, Controls, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Application Engineering, Technical Support, and Sales Engineering teams.
• Oversee technical sales support for dealers, national accounts, and end customers.
• Coordinate special engineering quotations and product support.
• Maintain installation guidelines and sizing tools updates.
