Kensington Place (AL/IL) Senior Living in Columbus, OH is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead census strategy and guide patients and families through transitions from acute to post-acute care, aligning with our Care Beyond Compare philosophy. You will develop plans to meet census targets, build referral networks with hospitals and physicians, and represent the facility at community events.

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
• Two years of admissions, marketing, or sales experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong understanding of the skilled nursing and long-term care industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and maintain census targets.
• Monitor and analyze census trends and develop plan of action to address census challenges.
• Identify potential referral sources and build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, community organizations, and other healthcare providers.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the facility can meet the needs of incoming patients.

As the Director of Admissions, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to Care Beyond Compare by effectively managing and maintaining our census.
